Yeah you may think Im crazy but the thing is, I COPIED THE NUMBER FROM THE CALCULATOR WRONGLY. IT WAS 0.75 %#()!*@!)_^&*

Not only that, my calculator FAILED on me right in a Maths Exam. Thankfully, after spamming it, it worked. I was panicking and thats why my highlighter dropped ._.

Like... wth? So suay. Last year I mistook my 'a' for a '9' and now I copied wrongly.
BUT I CAN SWEAR I SAW 7.5 WHEN I DIVIDED 2.1 BY 2.8!

Walao eh everytime during Maths I must cock eye one.

Dont get me started on Bio. I studied all the important ones and NOTHING (ok got some but very little) came out. And I used my Geographical Knowledge for that "why plants wilter in saltwater?" question.

Yeah I know I said Im on a hiatus but to hell with that. I've gotta post to vent my frustrations.

Did I tell you yesterday? I bought one Nescafe from 7-11 for $1.70 (!!!) and the mama shop near my home only costs $1 !

I woke up at 8 today to study and my younger siblings woke up at 8 to play. So imagine yourself in your room, trying hard to concentrate on your notes. Then occasionally, you get interrupted due to your siblings' laughter. Write a story of about 500 - 1000 words, describing about what you felt when you were interrupted.

LOL no ignore the back part. Yeah just imagine the scene.

But I think the worst one would be my older brother.
Next week, on the 18th of May 2009, most Amksians would be freed from the devil's grasp and would be free to roam about and do their heart's desire.

When I saw her I was thinking "ZOMG WHY MS LEE IS HERE" but then something helped me confirm it wasnt her.

Usually I'd be jumping around like crazy when I see that but this time Im actually kind of not looking forward to it.

At least for now. Cause closing of schools = delay of MYE = LONGER PERIODS OF AGONY.
If its after the exams, I certainly wouldnt mind. Heh.

Hmm. Im prepared to get an earful from Mdm Chong and my tutor when I get back my E Maths test tomorrow.

This could very well be my last post as you know, MYE is just round the corner.
Its like only next week. ZOMGZEEMA.

Anyway, I was blog hopping just now like usual, and I came across this.
Its from WangLing that 3/5 girl. Yeah I know, most of you may not know her but the point of bringing this up is because... SHES SO GOD DAMN RIGHT.

FYI, its her suggesting some things for the school.
"1. install air-con (esp. for this hot unbearable weather)

2. maybe upgrade the hard plastic chairs to a large comfortable armchair with soft cushions.

3. Instead of hard concrete floor, we can have carpeted floor, and probably RED carpet.

4. We can have thinner and compact textbooks so that we would not strain our backs and our bags.

5. even better suggestion- laptops! They're extremely handy when we need to do some research, and also entertaining ourselves during lessons which are damn boring.. (you know what I mean, G-A-M-E-S)

6. Can we tilt the classroom a little? I have problems looking at the whiteboard, with mount everest, mount fuji, mount kilimanjaro, mount logan, mont ventuox and what not.. right in front of me. (Hang on, I suddenly got interest in mountains..)

7. we need a larger table; a small workspace can't support our over-piling books. And, a large quality table, without a layer of paint for our itchy fingers to peel.

8. have bellboys at the foyer of the school (like in hotels), they can help us transport our really heavy bags.. or luggages.

9. Speaking of transport, we need a better transportation, from the first storey to the forth floor. Escalators and lifts would be great, unless the technology now is so great that we have teleporting where we disappear with just a snap of the fingers.

10. and lastly, start school later and end school early. Plus, lesser homework and exams. Preferably, none at all. We need 8+ hours of peaceful, stress-less sleep. We can't sleep with square roots and logs swimming in our heads.."


Ok frankly speaking, I prefer installing more fans in our classroom instead of air-con as:
- School fee confirm explode
- Cold atmosphere = FLU BUG COMING.
- Fall asleep

Number 2 is good as well, but I guess it wont be long before replacements are necessary since there are some joker people in our class who would damage them. LOL.

3, 4 and 5 are *thumbs-up*
I like 5 especially because.. MY SWEATY PALMS WONT AFFECT ME IN MY WRITING ANYMORE!

That way, I would be happily taking down paragraphs and paragraphs of notes without complains. And I have to like use a piece of cardboard to support my palm when writing because.. sweaty palms -.- It gets really annoying at times seriously.

Even better if laptops are used in exams. Then can save so much more time(most people type faster than they write) and I wont need to be so bothered with my wet hands.

For 6, Im fine with my current seating plan. Maybe it would be better if blackboard was used instead of whiteboard? Because then people at the sides would be able to see it clearly as there wont be reflection. But my dad says theres chalk dust. o_o
Would you prefer to be able to see the board clearly or have a board thats kind of dusty?

7 - 10 = 10 thumbs up. (I can do it cos' Im super)
7 - Having a large table for you to work at gives the 'shiok' feeling. You feel good even before doing anything which = half of the battle won.
And I so agree with the paint, everyday I have to scratch little pieces of paint off my lower arm.

8 - It sounds weird but it would be a bonus. (:

9 - Argh. This would most probably be supported by the upper sec students. I certainly wont mind climbing the stairs if I was still studying on the 2nd floor.
But maybe there is a purpose for us to exhaust ourselves right in the morning. To perk us up and get us ready for lessons? I think its ineffective though because it exhausts me further.

10 = 3 thumbs up.
If there wasnt any homework but exams still existed, I certainly wont mind starting school at 7 and ending at 2.
Because once you get home, PLAY TIME! Or rest time if you want.
And yeah, I forgot the last time I really enjoyed my sleep. LOL.

Hmm. If at least half of the suggestions above are fufilled, I think I'll love going to school. ._.

But hey, what can you expect? A dream is just a dream. LOL. How are you going to work towards it anyway.

I swear to God that tomorrow when I come home, I'll increase productivity rate by 3000% by at least attempting to make notes/do maths/study for history test and not play computer games anymore.
If not, I shall not buy that for myself like how I said I would after MYE.

I was thinking some kind of apocalypse was coming like how a tsunami comes.

Knuckle cracking may seem cool but if you think it has no long-term effects, think again.

I was reading a book when I saw one paragraphy which attacted me.
Heres what it says..

Yeah, I think I've not finished harping on my last topic.

I was watching the movie, Knowing, just minutes ago and during the last part of the show.
It was talking about a Solar Storm, the one we can expect in possible 3 years time.

I heard something Nicholas Cage was saying and it caught my attention right away.
It went like " A superflare from the Sun. Just one of it and it is enough to destroy our ozone layer. "

In case you want to get a clearer picture of whats expected to take place, watch the last part of the movie. Maybe trying googling "solar storm part of knowing" ..? I dont know, you guys should be pretty tech-savvy I assume.

Anyway back to the subject.
What they showed was really horrifying. It reminded me of what scientists said that made dinosaurs extinct, fire balls.
Except that in this case, its much worst. Seriously.
It looked like one big wave of flames ripping through cities. (PS was too engrossed to get a SS)
I doubt anything would be able to survive that. Can say its a fire-tsunami.

The animation that they showed of the sun's superflare was still ok. You know on the surface of the sun right, got those flame like things.

That was what showed on their screen initially.

Then, to show the effect of the superflare, the flames went like..


The worst thing about this was..

Earth was well within the superflare's reach ._.

Okok I'll stop here. I think some are even finding me nagging on this issure already.

Have you ever wondered when everything comes to an end?

Whenever there is a start, there would be an end.


Well some of you may, in one way or another, have come to know of this.. somehow religious and popular date.
It has been brought up a few times in some popular forums.

As the title says, it is said to be the last day for humans.
It is the day when everyone will die.

Initially, I saw a thread concerning this on Basilmarket, a popular MapleStory forum. When I saw this, the first thing that I thought of was.. "Ok its just some bored-out-of-their-minds fools trying to attract attention and get themselves banned."

After that incident, I almost forgot about the historic date.

Until today.
Like my daily habit, Im surfing The Electric New Paper on the web.
Then something caught my eye.
It read "SPACE WEATHER: A solar storm coming? Space scientists warn of possible disaster in three years' time".

Then I counted, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012. 2012? That sounds familiar.

The Mayan calendar ends on 21st dec 2012, scientists have already start to predict a solar storm in 2012, the date of that day would be 21 12 2012..
Everything seems to coincide with each other.

In 2012, we would be about 18 years old.

My blistering barnacles PC died on me, and its the same old problem. Some recurring connection problem.

I had put them in a "yet to be uploaded" file. AND MY COMPUTER IS DEAD. Get the picture?

Ohhh jeez. Playing SA on my laptop(Im using it now) sucks too.

There might be something to look forward to though. If this time the tecnhician (my father's friend) said its CMI, then maybe I'll have a good reason to buy a new PC. ^o^

O_O Is 3/1 the class with the most homework excluding 3/5?
Winneb said she finished hers yesterday.
And UNBELIEVABLY, doggy tay said he finished his today.

ARGH.

I think I even broke a record. I've been doing Maths from 10am till now 3pm and Im like still left with the Congruence & Similarity worksheet + half of E maths worksheets.
6 hours of non-stop Maths action. Ugh.

Burnt midnight oil till 2am yesterday. And I only managed to finish 3A and 3B of A Maths.

Actually I think we dont profit a lot by burning midnight oil.
Initially, I was quite pissed with myself as I couldnt get most of the answers in 3B last night.

Then this morning I checked my work. And it was full of dumb careless mistakes.
The dumbest ones were copying wrongly. I copied one question wrongly and ended up solving my own question which I couldnt since it didnt make sense.

Another one was the calculator said -3 over 5 and I wrote it as the opposite in my answer.
To think I said to myself, cannot be. I do 10 and like 5 wrong? Somemore all miss by a bit. Confirm the book wrong one. But cannot be leh, this Shing Lee is known for his good maths books. aiya nvm take it as the book wrong. (:

It has been a tiring day for me.

I think this year's Family Day sucks. 2007's one was so much better.
At least its much more accessible.

Met up with Trevis, Yx, Macus, Heng, Demi, Alicia, Bawawa and Shin Yin at AMK MRT station. 7am.
Ugh.

Trained down to Bedok interchange and took the shuttle bus.

Nothing interesting during Family Day so I'll skip that.
BUT, the highlight for me was.. TUG OF WAR.

Heh. Initially for our first war, we were totally disorganised and everyone was pulling at their own pace which = total lost.
But after that, thankfully Mrs Chung (SHE WAS PART OF OUR TEAM LOL) suggested counting "31 pull! 31 pull!"
AND IT WORKED!
It brought us all the way to the top, well at least to the 2nd highest.

Heh. There was once when we pulled so hard, the opposing team totally lost grip.
It resulted in Khwanfa (he's at the front) having an EPIC FALL.
Very epic. His whole back was covered in sand. LOL.

Hm. Both my arms and legs are like BBQ-ed pork. Ugh.

Oh yeah, I told james today.

Yuxuan actually bowled with us today!
Sigh. 1st and 2nd games totally off form. Trevis also.

Only the 3rd game after the guides left then we kind of regain our skills.

And I noticed that shin yin is quite funny when she bowl.
Her style.. cant describe.
And the speed of her ball... even a snail is faster than that.
But she compensates it with accuracy. ._.

Argh. The good thing is, I've improved quite a lot using my new stance thanks to Trevis' advice.
Now, its NEW AND IMPROVED.

The whole time I was like, ok i need to be cool. relax, its warm up.

The guides left at about 4pm. The few of us guys carried on till 5pm.
We went up to the 2nd floor for the arcade.

There was one very funny machine I tell you.
I've never seen anything like it.
It was so great, the few of us kept trying at it.

Its like some kind of venting anger machine.
You insert a token. It gives you 3 tries.
You're supposed to punch that annoying looking beast.
After you punch it, it'll calculate your strength.
Eg 80kg.

It said that the person should stand still and punch with only 1 hand.
But after that, I told yeo to play cheat.
He took at few steps back, and then charged at it and ended with a punch.
Superb, more powerful.

Then, the real thing comes. All thanks to me.
I started the duo-punch frenzy.
I would take a few steps back, charge at it like some mad ghey and BOOM.
2 hands punching the beast.
It was really effective. With 1 hand, I could do only like 80kg.
With 2 hands, I went up to a record of 119kg. The record was 121 ;O

Heh. Spent like $2 on that dumb beast. LOL.

Hmph. I didnt find today's family day fun at all.
The only reward we received was having cool charcoal-like skin.

Argh. I cant wait to bowl again.

Edited. Lazy to post so I'll do it this way.

1. I did the dumbest thing ever today. I didnt bring my PE shorts except for my shirt today.
How it happened :
I wore my pe shorts the moment I woke up before going to wash up since I usually wear my uniform over it. Then after washing up, I took it off, thinking that it was a pair of home shorts. And then I wore my long pants. ._. Hmph. I think that pair of shorts would call me “吃饱没事做”if it had a mouth.

2. The rounded potato spared me today as he thought I was with Ah Heng and Huan who have an activity in the afternoon.

3. Jethro was really irritating today when he sat beside me during Chem's SSRP while doing maths. He was singing and then boasting that his maths was better than mine.

4. Finished up quite a lot of Maths homework during the SSRP and surprisingly, majority of the class were doing homework.

5. Geography was EPICNESS today. Heh LOL. Someone kept scratching while presenting. Ask Vince or Gary and they'll tell you the whole story.

6. Getting back results slip tomorrow. >:)

7. My nose and throat is much better today. (:

8. Huan was super selfish. She brought down her maths stuff to do during PE today. She was only doing the Modulus worksheet and wasnt using her textbook. Being the studious guy I am, I took her textbook and was about to start working on some Maths while she was talking.
Hmph. She took it back from me afterwards. D: AND SHE WASNT EVEN USING IT. ARGH.

9. Today after PE was English. Im not sure about what happened but it went something like this. I told her we've got 2 periods of SSRP for Chemistry since Miss Lee was absent. Then she said " thats good. ...uh no I mean.. I need to give you your result slips."

The thing that is worth rejoicing about is that my chinese finally attained a grade of B4 in my report card for the first time.
Also, I dont have any Cs for this term. ;D
And I've only got 3Bs, which is commendable. (:

Now Im starting to have a phobia of giving my all during during track trainings.

My father just told me my cousin had injured himself.
He tore ,I think, one of his leg ligaments and is now on crutches.
Heard that he fell down while playing rugby, his cca.

FYI, he's in JC 2 and dont play play ok.
His results are one of the top. PSLE score of 267 and now in raffles jc. ;OO

I busted a myth today.
I used to think that there was bowling in Hougang Plaza, the old building next to the Mall.
Well, at least from what I can remember. My dad used to bring my brother and I there for the amusement park when we were young.
And I remembered I saw bowling there as well.

SO, after like 5 - 8 years, I wanted to see if it was still there.
I went up there and voila!
There was K-Box, sakae sushi(LOL?), barber shop(LOL?), and a lan-cum-pool shop.
Well that shop said it offered lan, internet and pool services.

BUT NO BOWLING. D:

Man, things just dont go my way.

Today my tutor called me and asked me for my A Maths results.
Happily, I told him I got full marks.

He said since there were no more tests and Im doing quite well, he'll let me have a rest this weekend.
On hearing that, I cheered.

Then later I thought, eh. Wont my weekend be really boring now?
Lets see. He called at about 2pm which = my piano lesson over.
Nothing else for the weekend.

And so, I asked ALL of my friends whether they wanted to go out tomorrow.
That meant primary and secondary school peeps.
Movies, outings, anything.
And all of them were busy, at least all those who I asked.

Sigh. When they want to go out, Im busy.
When they are busy, I want to go out.

Anyone up for any form of outing tomorrow?
Otherwise I would be rotting at home. T_T

Just now at the bus stop, there was one mentally unsound person asking everyone for $2.
She looked something like a tomboy.
Initially, I found her familiar but recognised her after I heard what she asked.

It went like " excuse me, uncle/miss, do you have 2 dollar 2 dollar? "
Translate the last part into chinese.

2 years ago, when I was having my x-ray at ang mo kio, she approached me and asked the same question.
Luckily I didnt give it to her, because it would be me kissing $2 away.

Back to the topic. Everyone she approached all declined.
Luckily.

BUT, sadly, there was one kind soul.
He just got off the bus and she approached him.
He gave her 2 $1 coins.
He thought it was over.
It wasnt.

"can give me the coins?" was what she said even after getting $2.
Annoyed, the man asked her what she wanted it for.
She said she was going to buy something later. >_>

Actually, I think its more like taking free money from people.
And she still pestered him for more coins.
Thankfully, he ignored her and took a seat.

10seconds later, she approached him again.
" excuse me, can give me the $10 note? "
"NO. I warn you, leave me alone. "

NICE. That was what I was waiting to hear. LOL.
Seriously, such idiotic people should spend time trying to find a job.
Instead, she was asking people for $$.

Ah, once again, she seemed like she had a bit of a mental problem. ._.

And there was one uncle who reacted very funnily when he was approached by her.

"excuse me, uncle, do you have 2 dollar 2 dollar? "

Got back A Maths test today! FINALLY I GOT THE FULL 20 MARKS I DESERVED.

Its good to have a sense of humour.
But when you cant get serious, its a problem.

Honestly, I think he's just trying to be funny.
I think he cant even see that Mdm Chong was obviously angry,
and yet he still retorted her. wth.

Even when he's getting scolded, he still has that freakingly-annoying-to-teachers smirk on his face.

Refilling your bottle in the toilet? What kind of fools on earth would do that?
And obviously the water in the bottle is chilled. Toilet taps dont have that.
And he doesnt get Mdm Chong's point.
He asked for permission to go to the toilet. That doesnt include refilling his water bottle in the toilet.

Compared to last week's SS lesson, today's lesson was noticeably better.

1. A Maths test is over !
Im quite confident that I'll get full marks(HOPEFULLY) provided there're no stupid mistakes.
Once bitten twice shy, I made sure I read the questions SUPER carefully.
It was quite easy. (:

2. I handed in my Physics graph like I promised Mrs Yeo.

3. Im sitting in front of Mr Heng and Macus now during Chinese lessons.

4. I got a distinction for my Chinese!
Yes like MIRACULOUSLY. Well I think last week Bhattarai gave us a mock normal chinese paper.
She returned it to us today. AND I GOT AN A2!
WOOOOOOO.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Never in my secondary school life have I ever got a distinction for Chinese!
49.5/70 YES.

And I just quitted my Chinese tuition. This shows that my chinese is not CMI without tuition ok!
Well, I heard that we, HCL students, should get about A1 - A2 for the 'O' level normal chinese paper in order to get a B3/B4 for HCL next year.

AND I HIT THE TARGET! Yeah! 我拿 A2! (:

Hmph. Too bad its not the CA marks. If not I'll get like A2 for chinese for the first time in my report card already.

5. Mrs Chung changed our seating arrangements today.
Ok now Im sitting right in the middle of the classroom. Thats good since I have a clear view of the board.

BUT, BUT, Im sitting with 2 sleepyheads next to me. ;O
My left = Ju wei (HENG) who's always sleeping
My Right = Wing Yu (HENG) who's always sleeping as well.
Omg lah.

This morning I was still feeling energetic like Im ready to take the world on when I was still sitting with Trevis.
Then after changing, I YAWNED MORE THAN 10 TIMES DURING ENGLISH.
Serious ! Im not joking.

There must be some sleepy auras about the both of them. ;O

6. All tests are over!
Ok it WAS SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE THIS at first.
But, unfortunately, sad to say, Pure-Geography students have a test tomorrow. Last minute decision.

Mrs Ismail said she marked about 6 scripts and only 1 passed.
Jeez. To think I said I would be happy if I got an A for that.

NOPE, we havent got our scripts back but I think chances are, I'VE FAILED MY RECORD.
No more straight-As for Geography. ;O

Argh. Well we've got to be optimistic.
Having another test tomorrow would give us a chance to redeem ourselves. GO ME!

AND, the critical worksheet that had the critical information was still with Mrs Yeo before the test. T.T
