Just when I thought I could score for this test and get a distinction for physics overall, I realised my textbook was in school.

What is it with 3/1?

It looks like we're pissing majority of the teachers who teaches us off.

Today during SS, I could see that Miss Zaiton was extremely irritated and annoyed by those inconsiderate blistering barnacles talking at the back, without sparing a thought for others.

Please if you dont want to learn, just get out of the class.
Do you know you're slowing everyone's learning down and wasting the teacher's energy?

Miss Zaiton is a good teacher alright. But because of you guys, she had to stop at least 10 times.
Furthermore, she explained the skills OVER AND OVER AGAIN. But did you guys appreciate it? I dont think so. At least this applies to those at the back.

I didnt use to think that the teacher's act of stopping the lesson would slow down the learning.
I was wrong. I finally understood it this year.
Miss Zaiton's continuous stopping accumulated to more than 15 minutes.

She would start off nicely with everyone paying full attention.
Then after 5 minutes, she would say " are you still with me? " or "focus! focus!"

2 periods in a week. And we just learnt skills. And we didnt even cover all of the skills.

Dont believe me? Fine.

Take the next teacher. Miss Lee for chemistry.
Im not sure about today but I think she commented on us not paying attention/very chatty/very noisy at least once today.

If not today, then Im sure she did get very annoyed with us during one of the wednesdays.

Ok next. Mdm Chong for Maths.
You guys should know it as well as I do. She is the one who's pretty much the most pissed with us.
Not handing in homework, not paying attention in class.
Fine I admit, I didnt hand in my work on time too but that only applies to Chapter 1 of E Maths.

I just handed in 2A and 2B to her today. Didnt hand in 2C as I wanted to look through it.

She's actually another good teacher if you lend her your ears and pay attention.
Initially I thought 2B and 2C were suicide but since I paid attention, I completed both exercises within 15 minutes.
They're unbelievably easy.

If this goes on I think we'll be screwed for MYE.
It still isnt late now to pull up your socks and get back on the right track.

P/S, I was really irritated by the class' behaviour during SS today.

Ironically, today was the first time I didnt pay much attention during the first 20minutes of Maths.

I almost went crazy when I heard my maths results.
I dont even know whether to laugh or cry.
Reason to laugh/be happy : I got distinction.
Reason to cry : I got 17/20. (i feel like crying again)

The question (3marks) was so freaking easy that I could even do it with my eyes closed.
Its like my 1mark just flew away from me.
1m because 20/20 = 1 in simplest form.

ALL BECAUSE OF THE RECIPROCAL QUESTION.
The two terms we were suppose to work with were (x) and (x+1).
But too bad samuel lee was feeling high and mighty as he thought that he could dominate the maths paper even without going all out.

Therefore, he geh-kiang and read the question a little faster than his usual pace.

As a result, he misread the question and boy it still puzzles me as to how he got his two terms. He got (x) and (x+2).
And he's still miserably whining that he read the "2 positive consecutive integers" as "2 consecutive odd/even numbers".

He thought he could still get 20/20 for his test despite his answers being super weird and different from his peers as his answers were 6.598 and 8.598.

Now that serves him right for being too complacent right?
Since samuel =/= superman, .'. samuel=dumb(NA) or samuel=geh-kiang.
Reject samuel=dumb as Samuel does know how to do the questions.

Today is such an unlucky day for me.

First thing right in the morning we couldnt enjoy ourselves during PE.
We were already late and yet we had to run for 15min non-stop.

I was expecting about 17. ZOMG I PHAIL.
One, out of carelessness, I wrote the sulphuric acid as WATER. -0.5 marks
Two, I forgot to label the axis of my graph. -0.5 marks

It sucks to the max! D:<

Question 1a(ii) was worth 6 marks.
I didnt know what to write so I wrote monsoon winds.
Maybe lucky lucky get 1 mark.
But the thing is, the monsoon I mentioned should be the Southwest one, AND I WROTE IT AS THE NORTHEAST ONE.
ARGH.

Forget it. Hopefully test 1 would be able to help give me a distinction for PG in the report card.

Also, just now on the way home, I slept in the bus for 10mins.
After waking up, my left leg HURTS with every step I take.

The worst thing for today. I WAS COMPLETELY SOAKED THANKS TO THE RAIN.

I think its quite good (:

Cos' in the past I used to be like once I started mugging, I've got to finish it with the number of stops being the minimum.
Which means studying for at least 1 1/2 hours at a go.

Anw I think I was very bo liao just now.
I was studying the geog textbook on Climate.

There was a picture at the side that show the "Road Closed" sign in a flooded road.
Then the text said, the hurricane wilma in 2005(i think) turned the road into a river.

And so, I took up my trusty buddy pen and edited the picture.
YES! I changed it to "River Closed" !
LOL. Wu liao right. ._.

And the worst thing is, my uncle is coming early in the morning tomorrow for tuition.

Damn it. Im really going to confront my parents about stopping my chinese tuition.
Its eating into me.

I feel super stressed. ._.
Ah jeez. I ALWAYS feel super stressed.

Most people are able to enjoy their weekends while my weekend never seems to be like a weekend to me.

I think Im having more like a 6-day-work week.
Others may think that my weekend isnt really all that packed.
But you are you and I am me.

If my weekend tuition durations are added up, they can almost take up my whole day.

Saturday : 10:15-11:15 am (piano class)
Saturday afternoon/evening/Sunday morning : 1 1/2 hours - 3 hours (uncle tuition)
Sunday afternoon : 1 1/2 hours. (chinese tuition)

The thing is, my chinese tuition isnt exactly 1 1/2 hours.
It can stretch up to 4 hours.
That is inclusive of travelling time.

I live in Hougang and my teacher lives at Bukit Gombak/Batok or somewhere close to there.
It takes about 1 hour to get from my house to her place.

And after dont know how long of going to and fro her place for chinese tuition, I dont think I've improved much.
Im thinking of stopping my tuition. Seriously.
Its taking up so much of my time and yet I dont see much myself improving much.

To be exact, Im still a C6/5(If Im lucky + God bless me).
Even YX that joker still wins me.

My recent chinese test, I said to myself, if I got at least 30/50(I've never reached the 30th mark before) I'll be overjoyed.
I got 31. And I thought it was the most amazing feat in my history of chinese learning.
Guess what. Macus and Heng got 34/34 1/2 for their tests.
Ok fine, I'll close one eye.

Whats more, YX got 32.
Is that pure luck, coincidence, or fate?
It seriously demoralised me.

I studied until I almost died from exhaustion and loss of brain cells for last year's FYE HCL paper.
And I got a C6.
Yes. The trio all got at least a C5.

To top it off, I failed my compo(I think, about 34/70), and my main paper was a borderline pass.. about 56 or 57/110.
I remember at that time, Jackie brought something up to Ms Wong.

It was a word error.
Ms Wong said whoever who also wrote this word, AND with the main stroke overshot-ing another stroke, would be awarded with -1 mark.

She checked Heng. Pass. Checked YX. Pass. Checked Macus. Pass.
Check me. Fail.
And she took it to the teacher for my reward of -1 mark.

I almost cried when she took it away. Anymore loss of marks would result in me failing in my HCL paper on the overall.
Which also indirectly meant that I would not be able to take HCL again next year.(i Think)

I couldnt afford to fail my paper.
I got a C for FYE chinese in 2007 as wel.
After all that studying.. how am I going to face my teacher after that?
Luckily I think I didnt get my reward.

But still, I know Im in the highly dangerous and "volatile" zone.
Just a few more errors = Fail.

I dont know man. Does the tuition help me in anyway? I dont know.

And since the chinese tuition takes up so much of my time without producing much results, which I know I can use more productively with other subjects, I've pretty much decided to drop it.

I dont think its worth it. Every month my mum asks me to pass a thick band of notes to my teacher.
And yet I havent been producing any result.

I feel like Im wasting their money.
With or without chinese tuition, I'll still be a C grader.


I always find myself struggling with tuition work every weekend.
I've decided to stop giving myself pressure. If this goes on, one day I'll see myself ending up in IMH.
I might even be the next "techno-king".

Life isnt all about studying. I saw this on 2/3's classblog.

Rest assured, even if I dont carry on chinese tuition in the future, I'll still be working on my Chinese.
I'll read the Chinese papers more often.
And that goes for English as well.

Zomg.
Miss Zaiton went through the sample SEQ with us like RIGHT BEFORE the test.
So I think majority of the class would score well.

Chem was alright but I dont expect too much from it since my head goes NDEWAIUJSDAKLWHATDIDYOUSAY? when you say names like *** sulphide *** chloride and stuff like that.

Omg. Theres like another 3 tests next week.

Tell you something, I just cut my hair just now at one of those 10min cut shops.

I still remember once Macus was approached by some hooligans at AMK Hub during an outing with us.

Fortunately, the other party didnt resort to violence but still, they hurled expletives.

I just dont get it. ._. cant people look at the bright side of things?
They could have been like "omg he's lookin' at me. i must be so charming 8D"

Well I forgot to mention the things I wanted to mention.
2 funny incidents occurred in 2 days.

The first one was during recess, I think yesterday.
Yong Han came running into our class and he hid beind the pillar.
Jacqueline was looking for him I think. O:

She kept calling out his name.
And since Yong Han was behind the pillar, he was right in front of us. (trevis and I)
He kept doing funny motions to signal to us not to tell her he's here.

Then after sometime she came in and smacked him on the back without him knowing since his back was facing her.
Like LOL. He looked like he got a shock.

Ok the 2nd incident was today during History after the test.
Mr Goh asked us to do the workbook but benten, trev and I were discussing about some other affairs.
We were really in a dilemma in where to let nature take it's course or take action.
And then Trevis said "I dont know what to do lah!"

Then the girl next to him, Min Yi, pointed to the pages on his textbook and said "do this page and that lah."
Then we burst out laughing. LOL.
Even she was laughing. LOL.

Its like we werent asking about that. LOL.
Its kind of hard to put it into words but if you were present, then you would get what I mean. LOL.

Yes I broke my promise to myself but this morning something cropped up.

From the moment I got on my bus all the way till I reached my class, I had a BAD stomache.
Trust me you wont want to know how it feels.

It was so bad I had to make a trip to the toilet. >_>
Then during maths it came again, but not so severe.

Oh man. I realised how precious every Physics lesson is to me now.
Luckily, I gave 100% attention today and managed to grasp the concept of the what Total Internal Reflection. Or something like that.

& thankfully I was called up to do the working for the angle of refraction.
If not, I would most probably have carried on my mistake of using the slash instead of the divide sign.

Sadly, I have a slight disadvantage in class.
Im sitting right at the side of the classroom.
TRUST ME AGAIN, the view SUCKS.

Not the angle, but there is always the cursed light coming in from the windows on the right.
How bad is it? Well I always see the reflection on the board and so, I cant see whats on the board sometimes since all I see is one patch of light. LOL.
I think this applies to almost everyone in my row.

If a Physics question asks, "what is one application of reflection that can be found in our daily life?", I would most probably answer..

There is one right there in front of me. The light coming from the outside is reflected off the board and into my poor eyes. Its hurting me D:

Mrs Chung, can we put some sort of covering to cover the windows on the right? Some black cloth or whatsoever would do fine. I believe it would benefit the whole row.

Hm. Hopefully this suggestion gets accepted.

That is, you're going to have to get through the dark side before being able to see the HOLY LIGHT.

At first when I received my paper it was 17/25.
Then after the lesson as I was walking out of school, I kept thinking, (WTH. how can yuxuan get 17? HE'S ON PAR WITH ME! NOO.)

AND SO, I took out my paper and calculated again.
AND VOILA, ITS SUPPOSED TO BE 20!

20/25! = A1 ((:
And to think I said to myself, I would be happy like bird if I got B3 for this test which = 17/25.
Luckily, God blessed me.
MY RECORD ISNT BROKEN YET ! :DD
I've never gotten below A2 for all of my tests/examinations for Geography.

You know why I said I would be crazily happy even if I got only B3?

I didnt study the whole chapter. Ok I did MEMORISE the first part only which is Latitude.
I forced myself to memorise MONSOON WINDS and it DIDNT come out. FTW.
I totally skipped the Continental & Maritime effects.

But that cursed James beat my all-time record of 85 marks for Geography with 86!
Luckily he got 15 for this test only. LOL.

Only up till now then I realised that I havent explained what I meant when I ran for my Geography. LOL.

LOL. We shouted out to her and managed to get her attention.
Then I had to run all the way from the 4th floor down to the staff room. D:<

She edited my marks, and said she would make the changes.
All that just for 1 test. But hey! It decided whether or not I would be stuck with a B3 or still an A.

Ok thats enough. I asked Shin Yin how much she got after geog and she said 15.
Like WUT. 15?! Reason : Didnt study. LOL.

Speaking about her, recently, she stopped harassing me. :D *GRINS*
Truthfully, I prefer to be harassed by her rather than paying the "protection fee" of $2.
